So I think I want to try NaNoWriMo this year. The goal of National Novel Writing Month (November) is simple, yet complex–write 50,000 words in 30 days. You don’t have to complete your novel, but the goal is to get down 50,000 words. This is about 1600 words a day. I was thinking of posting my progress on this blog where people could read it and I could get some support and motivation. i think it would really help me in getting it all down and continuing on if I have people waiting and expecting the next installment to my story. If you would be interested in reading my story as I finish parts, please comment because I’d love to know if people would watch my progress ^^ Just for a frame of reference, this paragraph is only 136 words long.

Homecoming
October 26・2008Well we had our school homecoming tonight. It was my first dance I had been to. It was fun I suppose.. I got frustrated because my date wanted to dance with her group of friends and not with me really, so it was pretty awkward. :-/ I dunno’, I don’t know why she said yes when I asked her to come with me, she could have gone alone for all the difference it made. If she is saying yes to going with me, then I think you are supposed to dance together, at least some of the time.
Everyone in my group came over to my house for an after party and that was fun, though. I’m making better relationships with a lot of new people so I think my time in the high school will be a lot better with the more people I am friends with and have good friendships with. 
Sorry I haven’t updated in so long, school is very busy, but I will try to find more time.
